Bridging Arts researcher creates World War One pop up display in Cornwall

There’ll be an interesting World War One pop-up exhibition in Pool, west Cornwall on Saturday 16 April as Bridging Arts volunteer Valerie Grigg will put her large collection of memorabilia on display.

She’s working with us on our Heritage Lottery funded-project Heart of Conflict, gathering Cornish stories from the war years.

She's keen to hear from anyone who has any memories of grandparents or other family members working in local munitions factories during World War One – or from anyone who was involved in nursing in the local convalescent homes or working in the mines during those years. Please do call in to see her or email info@bridging-arts.com

We’re collecting information and stories for an exhibition at the Royal Cornwall Museum this autumn. The Spring Fayre is at Heathcoats Social Club, Station Road, Pool, Cornwall from 10am to 12 noon. Entry free. Crafts, plants, cakes and a Tombola as well as Valerie’s exhibition!
